The Toyota RAV4 is a five-passenger compact crossover SUV utilizing four doors and a hatchback that is a capable vehicle whether it lives in the city or the suburbs. It is Toyota's best-selling vehicle in the U.S., and the best-selling non-pickup truck in the country*. Truly a game-changer, even from the start, the RAV4 has essentially created the market in which it resides. Now the Toyota RAV4 is on a mission to bring the Sport and Utility back to the SUV.

The new RAV4 has increased performance, all while reducing fuel consumption. And it includes more safety than ever before with the inclusion of the new Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 (TSS 2.0), along with the addition of a new Entune Multimedia suite.

At this point, it's clear to see that the Toyota RAV4 is ready to change the game, once again.

This new Toyota crossover SUV is available in five grades ranging from LE, XLE, XLE Premium, Adventure and Limited models. The RAV4 Hybrid is available as the LE HV, XLE HV, XSE HV and Limited HV.

Featuring a new athletic, chiseled appearance, the new Toyota RAV4 features new sophisticated sculpting to go with a more dynamic profile, for a brawnier stance that reinforces the RAV4 with a new "get up and go" attitude.

That attitude comes from an SUV that is totally new from the ground up. Using the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA-K) as its platform, the RAV4 includes a new longer wheelbase and wider front and rear track giving it a new aggressive Tundra-style stance. Shorter front and rear overhangs aid with the RAV4's trail driving capabilities.

The driver will feel the benefits realized by the use of the new platform as soon as they are behind the wheel. Offering crisper on-and-off-road handling, and a new quieter ride, it all adds up to more RAV4 than ever before.

Power and efficiency in the new Toyota RAV4 from Toyota of Brookfield comes from the new Dynamic Force 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine. Featuring Toyota Direct Injection (TDI), this new engine delivers 203-horsepower and 184 lb-ft of peak torque. The engine is mated to a Toyota Direct Shift 8-speed Electronically Controlled automatic transmission with intelligence (ECT-i).

In the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, the Dynamic Force engine is joined by the Toyota Hybrid System II (THS II) with electronically-controlled continuously-variable transmission (ECVT), which makes it the efficiency leader of the entire RAV4 lineup. The EPA estimates it is capable of 41 mpg city/ 37 mpg highway/39 mpg combined.

The RAV4 can be had in a standard Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) format or available All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) with Multi-Terrain Select and Rear Driveline Disconnect. Also available, a new high-tech Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD (TV-AWD) with Multi-Terrain Select and Rear Driveline Disconnect to disengage the rear drive wheels once the RAV4 achieves cruising speed. With this torque-vectoring system, the RAV4 handles like a sports car that doesn't realize it's an SUV.

Part of that handling can be attributed to the independent front suspension comprised of MacPherson struts with a stabilizer bar and hydraulic shocks in front and the trailing wishbone-style multi-link rear suspension and the rack-mounted rack and pinion Electric Power Steering (EPS) system.

The Toyota RAV4 is fully-loaded with safety! Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 (TSS 2.0) is standard on the RAV4, and includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w PD) which can automatically apply brakes when necessary. Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, (LDA /SA), and Automatic High Beams (AHB) are also in the mix and work seamlessly within the Toyota RAV4.

The Toyota RAV4 from Toyota of Brookfield includes other sophisticated safety features including Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). Rear Cross Traffic Braking (RCTB) is standard on XLE grade and above, and optional for the LE model. Eight airbags, along with a backup camera with projected path and enhanced vehicle stability control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD).
